Infrared Drying

Infrared Heating Plates & Wall Dryers —
accelerated wall drying for professionals

DÖLCO infrared heating plates (dark field radiators) enable efficient, gentle wall drying after water damage. Targeted infrared radiation evaporates moisture from the wall structure, which is then removed by a condensation dryer.

Operating Principle

How does infrared wall drying work?

The infrared heating plate evaporates water in the top layer of the damp wall. The resulting steam pressure draws moisture from deeper wall layers via capillary action. A coupled dehumidifier then specifically removes the water vapor from the room.

Depth effect through infrared
Infrared radiation penetrates deeper into the wall structure than conventional heat and activates capillary transport from deeper wall layers.
Interval operation
Optimal operation at 90–100 °C with automatic interval switching — allows moisture to rise from deeper wall layers.
Fast drying
Evaporates water in the top layer of the damp wall, significantly accelerating the entire drying process compared to pure condensation dryer solutions.
Gentle on plaster
Thanks to regulated temperature and interval operation, the plaster is not overheated — the building structure is preserved.
Flexible application
Can be used wall-mounted or free-standing. Easy to combine with DÖLCO dehumidifiers for a complete drying system.
Robust & durable
Industrially manufactured in Germany — designed for continuous use in professional water damage restoration and building drying.
